Tuberous Begonia

The begonia house at White Flower Farm is truly inspiring. The blooms are at least 4" across and of every color and variety known to man (or at least to me). This is one variety that caught my eye. Used my trusty 7D with 100-400 IS lens handheld.

I have been getting consistent comments about exposure... but looks great on my computer, so please do comment on that so I can tilt the screen to get my desired results. Thanks.

Pat,

The exposure looks perfect on my uncalibrated MacBook Pro 17, as does the image. Great dof decision, textures and light. Exceptional image for my tastes.

Beautiful, Patricia. Exposure looks good to me as well. It also could be a touch lighter without any problem. That's purely subjective and dependent on the color/look you're after or trying to duplicate. Excellent comp and DOF.

This looks great! I like the center pair of petals a tad brighter than surroundings. Moody. Ken S

Nice textures of the petals. Nice color Patricia. I like the 'attitude' of the flower.

A lovely and delicate portrait, Pat. Love it. Looks just fine to me. I like the gradients of light to shadow in this image. In fact, I can't imagine I'm going say this, but, I bet it would look nice in b/w too. D'ya think?
