On a mission

The very intense stare of this fellow is misleading, he looks to be on a mission but was in fact just crossing the road. Although with so many cars around that is possibly hard work.
This was the morning I had put my camera on 5shot AEB for a sunrise shot. Needless to say this was the only sharp shot :| More on my blog.

Near to Olifants camp in Kruger NP.

I like the way the cat blends into the background. Good comp!

I love the eyes! Nice capture, although I'm sorry to hear the others weren't sharp. :frown:

There is something about leopards - I have had plenty of opportunities, but sharp shots are in very short supply. Perhaps it is something to do with the times of day that you see them. This is a good shot, and I do like the composition.

Great capture Neil. Indeed, that staring eyes.
Like how the leopard walks into frame. Lovely light.
Thx

Cheers guys. Learned a lesson that day  Shame there is no market for bright white flashing pictures. :)

Leopards are special, although I think we saw as many as we did lions this time :o

Can't fault it, Neil. Your choice of comp, with the cat entering from the left, works well and the lighting looks great. No nits from me.
