This is nothing new.......but I always wanted to photograph a field of sunflowers. This image was taken in switzerland this june near the town of Biel/Bienne. 4 single exposrue blended manually in photoshop for DOF.

Any comments and thoughts on this one are appreciated. Thanks!

This is really cool looking Bill. The colors are very nice and the detail looks fantastic. Nice work with the dof too. The large version is great to look at! :toast:

the detail of the large version is awesome... I really like the comp of the 3 fg flowers... only would have wished for a little more space at the top but appreciate that may not have been possible... simply beautiful!

Amazing detail, Bill. The exposure, as well as the processing for DOF appear to be flawless.
While this is a spectacular detail shot, I wonder if a lower angle to include more of the field might be even more interesting, but then, I don't know how large (or small) the field was.
P.S. I also appreciate that you posted this view of a cultivated field in the proper gallery.

I really like the strong triangle comp with the foreground flowers. I also like the pov, light, and colors. Then the background flowers just add to the eye candy. Very well done!

As someone who's "vertically challenged" and therefore always looking up at sunflowers, I enjoy this "Sunflowers from Above" image. They're beautiful!
