I'm not sure of the OOF bird. I think it's because of the pose and the way they overlap though, not because of the DOF. Really nice job on the near bird - especially with the whites.

All looks great, but I also feel that the oof bird detracts more than it helps the image. Love the crisp appearance of the black and white plummage on the main stilt.

I like the OOF bird in the background adds some extra depth to the shot. I like that both birds are looking in the same direction. Nice work.

I don't think the OOF bird helps the image but I don't think he hurts it much either. I love the primary bird with its open mouth and tongue showing. Lovely details and overall environment too.

Gorgeous image with a cool natural setting. It needs a CCW adjustment though.

Excellent pose and great detail in the front bird, Robert. Nice low angle. The background is great with the OOF reeds, however I am not sure about the OOF bird in the background, it really draws me away from the main subject.

Great image Robert, I like it. Excellent POV and well exposed with nice details..
The second bird doesn't bother me, love that calling pose.
Might benefit from a slight CCW rotation as Luke says.
Well done :toast:
