Taken on my SW Florida tour where I go out for two days with James Shadle for Spoonies.......and this guy happened to drop in! There were two territorial White morph reddish egreats in the area.....so the chasing began!

Canon 1D Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm @ 406 mm for 1/3200 sec. at f/7.1 at ISO 800.

Beautiful image and exposure is spot on. The bird really pops off the page and is coming at the viewer...no nits from me :big grin: I like it a lot!

Superb in every way, Roman ! Don't you love those reddish chases, hearing them clapping their bills. Terrific wingspread and pose, outstanding work.

Sweet light, perfect exposure and very good detail. And an uncommon morph as well. Nice. :toast:

Superb job on the exposure, Roman. You have captured a great pose and the background really makes this egret pop in the image. Great image.

Wonderful flight pose and good background to bring out the egret. I like how you can see good feather detail in the whites and excellent detail on the larger image, well done.
