Autumn leaves on fresh pavement make a good contrast, I noticed. This was taken with a film camera, so I have no clue what the settings were.

An interesting study of textures, particularly all the variations of dots. Like your comp too. I would have wished the leaf would be in focus rather than the pavement. I agree that this makes for a nice color contrast, Shirley.

Hey Shirley, it does have nice contrast and interesting depth of field.

The contrast and detail are very interesting here - I like that. I find the bright leaf on the left pretty distracting, though. It really grabs my attention away from the red leaf. The echoing patterns - spots on the pavement and the leaf - are really nice. And I love the rich color!
