What do you do if someone gives you flowers... you photograph them, right?
No idea of the name, as usual. I am always struggling with the title.

D90, ISO 200, 1/80 shutter speed, never remember to write sown the aperture, when I use a manual lens, it's hopeless...

Comment appreciated

Beautiful flower and image Sindy. "Saturday's flower" (If I'm translating it correctly) works for me.

On a purely subjective note, I might consider a crop from the top. It would serve to better emphasize the symmetry of the center I think and would also take care of the viewer's upper right corner which draws my eye. Again, not so much a correction/improvement as simply an alternative.

Fine image. I like the comp. and the dof. You handled the colors very well.

Very nice set of colors and shapes. I like the sense that the center is about to pop open and the bits of yellow above the center. I agree with Pat's suggestion about a crop from the top.

Beautiful dahlia. I can along with either the original or the cropped versions. Both equally good.

I think you used just about the right aperture setting for this. Love the details at the center with just the right amount of DOF for the outer petals. Love it as posted, Sindy
