Same bird as the last from Saturday afternoon. Conditions were bright and breezy, but I shot a number of good images of this one. Cropped about 70% for comp. Larger image included.

Very sharp and the colors look nice - - I would like to have seen a catchlight

A very nice shot Bill. I like the pose and the habitat. Very sharp too. I too would like a catchlight, but this is great as posted.

Very nice, Bill. I like the soft blues, as is it easy to overwhelm this delicately colored bird. I have a lot of Willet images and MOST don't have a catchlight. Someone may know why.

Great image Bill, if possible a lower angle would also work. Willets are very approachable and you got a very good pose feeding here.

Bill,
Super detail in the larger version. I really like the water in the foreground and background. It's very abstract and lends a great deal to this image. Good composition and excellent exposure. Round two is a winner.
