A shot from my recent swedish holiday– A red fox caught in the morning, on a cloudy day- Cropped for composition, selective sharpening.

his red colour really sticks out among the green vegetation. I like his expression, he looks like a real character...
I would maybe consider cropping from the lhs to get rid of the left tree...
beautiful shot!

I love your comp, all the green at the bottom seems to lead you up to the fox. Great stare from the fox, I sure wish I could find one this cooperative! Awesome image!

Love this eye contact and the fox stands out well with all that green Fabio.
Excellent choice on the vertical orientation, well composed.

Hi Fabio,

I quite like the look on the fox's face - so focused! I also like how the orange colour of the fox stands out from the green-dominated surroundings. While I think you made the right choice in format here (vertical vs. horizontal), for me the out-of-focus vegetation in the bottom of the image doesn't add too much - if the image were mine I'd play with a crop off the bottom (I'm guessing about 20% off the bottom).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Brad

Really nice perspective on this fox! I agree with Brad that a bottom crop will make it even stronger.

Lovely image Fabio, really like the composition too, and yes, the closer crop works even better :^)
