This dragonfly i recovered while swimming, it was still alive and sat in the wind drying up again. Patiently posing for a survivor shot. All Comments are most welcome Thanks!

Cool composition, with the receding lines. I don't thin the OOF leaves in the FG add much to the scene, so cropping some of the bottom off would help me concentrate on the subject. A square comp or maybe even a horizontal 4x5 might work well. Good job on the rescue!

Thank you i had a go. i thought keeping it uncroppes would create a stronger feeling in distance but as it is OOF it is distracting i agree. i did some cropping on the side too. mm i find it difficult to choose i have these two variations. First i was convinced that perspective wise the line from the wooden railing had to start from the corner but when looking at the photo were i only cropped the bottom part, somehow i like that too..the soft water gives it a serene feel and perhaps some balance.I think i prefere that one i the composition feels more intresting too. What do you think?
