One from back in 2008, this Common Seal pup had been driven up onto the beach by it's mother, I believe she did this because a bull Grey Seal was patrolling just offshore, not sure if bull Grey Seals predate on Common Seal pups??

1/640th @ f8 iso400 ( 97% of FF, 2 distracting stones toned down and both catchlights lifted a touch )

Andy you captured a great expression here! I also love the way its one arm is lifted. Very cute! The composition works well for me, and the image is quite sharp! No nits from me!

Some very nice detail on the larger version. Possibly I would lift the catchlights a little bit more, but otherwise no nits from me.
