Autumn Leaves WC-497
by Ray Whitt
Through two church windows. Stopped at road side stand to buy pumpkins one fall and noticed this old, much painted church. From one side of the church you could see the fall foliage on the other side. Nikon D300, ISO 500, f3.5, S- 1/500.

10 commentsGreat perspective to mis-align the panes so both sidea are seen. Even the colours are perfect - the contrasting orange-ish window trim echoes the fall leaves.
Just exceptional!

With the many layers of paint and the way the fall background is rendered blurry, this really resembles a painting. Just so well done on many levels.

Simple, clean, and effective comp, with the viewers focus right where you want it.
Very nice
