This was taken about 30 minutes before my last post. I wasnt too crazy about the motion blur, but this seemed to be more popular when i posted it on RMNP, so am curious how it will fare here. I darkened it a bit from the RMNP post, i think darker suits it better.

Wow, the flowers look like they would run away if they could! I love the blur. Wonderful image.

I think the motion blur adds power to this already dramatic image. I love the lighting and the blur makes it look like the flowers were being tossed about in the fury of the storm.

I think the blur really gives a feel for the moment. I like the lone sunflower in the foreground that's turned toward the camera as if to say, " are ya getting all this" However, there are a couple of dust specs just to the left of center in the clouds that need to go away, but that's minor. A really great image Stan.

I reckon this is much better. The power of the storm is more visceral.

Whoa! Get me outta here. Like a seen from Munchkin Land where the flowers had little people under them. In this case, their in overdrive to escape...and for good reason. Great drama in this. A real keeper.

I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore! Very dynamic shot, Stan! The lightning and the moving sunflowers really put the viewer into the storm! Excellent! :toast:

Superb! Love the drama in the sky and I think the motion blur on the sunflowers really enforeces the mood here! :wavey:

I like this much better Stan. The motion blur creates a sense of fear..... and I just love that ominous sky. WOW!

I think this one is even better than the other one. Tough I wouldn't compare these two shots. I'm not quiet sure about the blurr effect....but it makes the power of the storm visible. A very dynamic shot. The processing looks spot on.

This really gives me a sense of movement. The darkness that you mention seems to fit
the mood.

This really tells the story of the storm. I think it works great. Quite a capture, and one I like very much. I thought maybe not from the thumbnail, but I would have been wrong. That lightning is awesome and those flowers are scared to death I think.

Stan,

Surreal, sometimes you think wow! Is it real or some photoshop trickery. Considering the integrity of the source I know it's real and that's makes it all the more amazing.

surreal... rather than shocking, these sunflowers look positively shocked by the storm to me...

Holy hell, what a great shot, Stan. That storm is incredible! I quite like the motion blur, it makes it feel like you were running from the storm, and that adds to the drama and fury of this awesome scene.
