Snowy Flight

This shot was taken at the end of June this year at Ft. Myers N Beach. I was actually photographing another Snowy when this one flew in to chase the other off. I couldn't get the zoom back quick enough to get the whole bird in, but found I rather liked this closeup.

(edit)Forgot to mention this is Full Frame

I would prefer the bird not to be clipped, but like the drama and the detail. Exposure is pretty good but there is a halo around portions of the bird (most notably the legs)

Interesting composition with the wings chopped off, Doug. Great job on the exposure and I like the pose.
