Hope everyone is out taking advantage of those few remaining summers evenings ! Sorry for being MIA for so long . I am now fully recovered from my latest surgery, after 2 months of laying in bed we have finally be able to do some summer vacationing. Have an arsenal of images to get through from the last few weeks but look forward to being back in action and catching up with you all soon. Happy summer, can't believe my children are back to school in three weeks ! Summer is too ,too short !

Wow, you are back with a vengence. This is very dramatic and vibrant. The rosy tones bring a lot of warmth to this terrific image. My only wish would be that the 'glow' extended all the way to the bottom of the frame but it's great as is.

Lorna, I like this a lot. It smacks of a summer's evening for sure, with light's last glow decending like a shroud over this seed head. Nice comp as well. Btw, like your website images.

Lorna: If you want a long summer head my way. We've had over two weeks of +100 degree days with no end and no rain in sight. I have a neighbor who winters here and summers in Canada. He's got the right idea for sure. I like this and appreciate the effort to get this POV. Great way to make a somewhat pedestrian subject into a dramatic image. Well done.>=))>

Welcome back! A very artistic take on an oft attempted type of shot, but rarely done as good as this one is! Excellent work!
