Rob, this is so clear and clean, with great detail and what looks like perfect color and light.

I am glad I checked the larger photo, this is a great shot in all aspects. Maybe, the tree bottom sticks are a bit distracting. Anyway, I love it.

Looks like a buggie bird! My relatives are from the UK. Very nice capture. Perch and exposure are excellent.

Excellent image of this beautiful bird with lovely, although somewhat muted colors. DOF has nicely isolated the bird from the background.

Very beautiful bird - love the soft, muted colours. How big are these birds?
The character in the lower branches add a lot too.
Nice!

Beautiful bird and well photographed, Rob. To my eye, the oof branches behind the bird are a substantial distraction, but I don't know if you can do much with them.

What a beautiful bird, you really captured the subtle color variation in the feathers expertly. The oof branches in the background would normally have a very negative impact on the photo, but because the gray oof areas are repeated in the perch branches it all works very nicely. Looks like you handled the bright light very well. You are blessed with some amazing bird species down there. :jump:

Sandy asked how big these rosellas are - about 14", whereas the Regent Parrots in my earlier posts are about 17" and far more streamlined

Another handsome species wonderfully captured, real nice Rob!

If this were mine I think I'd slice off a little from the bottom edge of the frame.
