Before and after

Do you ever have a sequence of pictures and can't make up your mind which you prefer? Here is a case in point, from Madagascar last November. The ring-tailed lemurs were following along a path, at one point a rock stuck up and they normally slowed down before jumping over it. I am posting two shots here, and would especially like to know if people have a preference for one over another, and why.

Thanks for looking.

David

Both shots Nikon D300 with 70-300mm Nikon set at 100mm. 1/320th @ f5.6

Great subject David.
Personally I prefer the second frame, as there is more action. I like panning shot s a lot.
I belief that the brownish background makes this image less powerful, since the lemur is also brown.

Hope you will share more lemurs with us.
Thx

Sorry David, I just can't decide, as I love them both! I had a great time myself for four days in Madagascar photographing Lemurs just last month, and yes, I completely relate to the difficulty of having to select the best of a sequence of similar shots. I'd love to see more of your Lemurs sometime. All the best :^)
