Turn! Turn! Turn!
by Howard Cheek
"To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven"
F/16, 1/800th, ISO 500, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 2x Kenko ext with fill.
Footnote:"Turn! Turn! Turn!", is a song adapted entirely from the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible (with the exception of the last line) and put to music by Pete Seeger in 1959.
The song became an international hit in late 1965, when it was covered by The Byrds, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #26 on the UK Singles Chart. Thus, the song easily holds the record as the #1 song with the oldest lyrics.

Love the contrast of color between the DF and the earthy orange leaf. Like the image as posted but also wonder how this would look without the OOF at the tail?
I am old enough to know the song you describe and you sure have an imaginative association.
Not such an "imaginative association" in my book. This was taken last year, as the leaves "turn" in the Fall "season". In addition, the leaf itself is "turning" if you let your eye follow its "curve".
I try to come up with a title that will get the thumbnail view opened, that's half the battle...
I've attached a quick fix to let it all hang out. Just for you
Ask and ye shall receive! The re-post looks great. Excellent clone job.
