I've been at Monument Rocks, western Kansas, many times and at all hours of the day and night. I have never noticed how this section takes on the appearance of a face, looking over the prairie. The angle of the full moon must have been just right, and I must have been in the right frame of mind after being on the road for 4 days that I finally noticed it. I looked again the next morning, and can see the resemblance, but it is hard to see unless looking for it, IMO. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Superb night sky and intersting rocks in the FG. I might be tempted to crop a bit off the bottom though, to give more preference to the nightsky :wavey:

The sky is very nice, but for me the rock over powers the sky. There is to much rock and it is to bright. I think I would crop it to a least above the darker part of the rock, so the sky becomes more the center of the image.

I like the crop suggestions. That sky is stellar (pun intended) and deserves to take center stage.

I see the face and that's one heck of a nose! I like the contrast between the surprisingly well lit rocks and the dark sky with pinpoint stars. What's the geological origin of this formation? I too could see cropping off the bottom 1/3.
