Good dof and I like the light quality. Possibly slightly soft on the larger view but hard to tell as the feathers are very smooth; good job catching a side view on this speedy, small bird.

It's a great little head turn and eye contact, to go along with the fish, and the great pose. Oh, and the warm light as well! Agree the large version might look a tad soft, but like Gary said, tough to tell as you don't see much plumage detail in these anyway.

Nice!
Great to catch these quick guys, and especially with a fish and head-turn!

Even though it's a little soft, the image works nicely because of the nice light. Nice bonus with the food in bill. Sharon

The apparent softness is an easy fix. Great lines here, Luke. The sweeping wings and flowing fish provide a sense of motion.

Luke,

How nice to not only get the prey in the bill but to also get a head turn towards you. Love the wing position and the comp you used. Perhaps a touch more sharpening of the head? Love the side view

Luke, I'd say this is slightly soft too but I like everything else I see. This is a tough shot to get tack sharp with them flying at that angle.
