I know that post!! It's pretty distinctive. Images in Fog can be really fun. This feels a bit dark to me, but not too bad. I don't know what that OOF thing is in the upper right corner, but I would either clone it out, or better yet, crop the image from the top to remove it. It really pulls me away from the subject.

You captured a neat pose Patrick, I like the raised foot and wings. Agree with Keith on the OOF dark area at the top as it pulls my eyes away from the bird and the darkness he mentioned. A little global wb adjustment towards warm might help take out the touch of cyan/green cast I detect. Nice work getting this at 250mm.

Mia and Keith,
Thank you for your comments. I agree with all of them. I no longer have elements on my machine and now have CS5, which is largely a mystery to me. I tried to eliminate the out of focus island at the top to no avail in the time I had. I will work it over and replace the photo when I figure it out.

Cool pose! Doing a little dance for you! I too would probably clone out the thing at the top, or crop tighter, but to be honest, I didn't really notice until seeing the other folks comments. I would also probably run a noise filter on the background.

Wonderul pose from your egret! I am seeing a bit of blue/green tint to the whole image. Also, agree with the crop suggestion. I think the image is worth a rework. I like the effect of the fog. Sharon
