Big Basin Bison

Big Basin NNL, southwest Kansas, just before the sun dropped below the horizon. The temps were over 100 F, and the bison came in mid-afternoon and then again at sunset to drink from the stock tank fed by a windmill. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

I like the late afternoon sunlight on the bison's coat, it brings out some nice tones.

Rob,

I find the scene interesting. I must admit the pole in front of the face bothers me some.

Thanks, Wayne and Peter. I agree about the pole, but the bison went behind it more often than in front of it :(.
