Crater Clouds

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for the comments on my previous two posts, they were very insightful. This was taken the same morning as my last post from Crater Lake. When I arrived at the rim of the lake around sunrise, the entire area was blanketed in fog. Luckily, the fog soon began to clear and put on quite a beautiful display. All comments and critiques are greatly welcomed. Does the cloud in the URC detract from the rest of the image?

That's a really nice scene. Some part of my brain is asking for a slightly tighter crop, but the other side of my brain can't quite place where. The only other suggestion might be to play with a tiny bump in the brightness / contrast.

I agree with Gary's suggestion on the slight increase in brightness and contrast but I like the cloud in the urc. I also like the shroud of mystery surrounding the view. Nice!

Nice take on Crater Lake. The cloud in the URC does not detract at all imo. The telephoto amplifies the effect of the atmosphere. Nice work!

I like the suggestion for added brightness, mostly in the snow not in the sky. The right side of the image feels a little bit heavy, but I think it would have that feeling regardless of the cloud.

Johnathan, great mood with the clouds cloaking the peaks.
I think you've framed this quite nicely.
