Coronet
by Youssef Ismail
Thanks for the feedback on my previous water drop photo.
Here is another. This is what happens immediately after a water drop makes contact with the pool, a coronet is formed. This is where the water drop makes a crater like formation in the surface of the water. The droplets that appear to be flying towards the coronet are actually flying away from it. The effect is produced because of a to long a flash duration as the flash is turned off the is a light drag that appears.
This one again was made with two flash heads, one on the right with a blue gel and one bouncing off a white background with a yellow gel. The colors mixed wonderfully to produce the green.
With a Nikon D2x, Nikon 80-200mm f/4 lens with a +2 diopter for close focusing.
Comments and critiques appreciated.

Beautifully done. I like the mixture of two color flash and the time lag effect.
and lighting. Keep these water droplet images coming.
