A Fall Mist
by Jean Day
My first time visit to Mossbrae Falls with friend Tony Immoos. The anticipation of seeing this place for the first time was punctuated by a train that came roaring past as we hiked along track side. It was very windy and the falls were very misty so cleaning the lens regularly was a given.
Lucky us, we were also treated to some nice fall colors as the leaves fell about us onto the rocks and into the river. I have to say having seen so many wonderful shots from here I was quite overwhelmed and intimidated. It's not an easy one to shoot and is so huge on a great "u" curved wall. I had to go back in February, though there was no snow, I did get some nice icy details.
C&Cs most welcome.

Navin...that single leaf clung to the wall right at the center of the waterfall the entire three hours I was there.
Very cool image - great colours and perspective. That bright yellow leaf adds a point of interest.
It feels as if the image needs more contrast, and a boost in sats. The blown whites at the bottom could easily be dampened with some selective brightness control, or even more easily with a program like Viveza.
May also need some CW rotation, as few of the streams of water seem to be falling vertically.
Nice!
