Nikon D300
Nikon 300ml 2.8
1/125@f7.1 iso 500.

Taken from my car window on a wet day on the Northern Moors this bird liked having it,s picture taken and stayed on the post a long time maybe to wet to go elsewhere?

Please take a look at the larger image and thanks for any comment you would like to make.

I like your comp and the raindrops. Bird is nice and crisp. Open mouth and lichens on perch are a plus! Sharon

The rustic post and wire, along with the slanting rain, add a nice feel for me Keith. Good clean look at the bird and I like the open bill.

The rain is a nice feature of the image. Snipe often sit out on such perches.

I really like the composition and the green background. The rain adds to the overall effect. Very pleasing image.

Excellent, Keith. I like the pose and composition, and that's a beauty of an old fence post.

Nice view of the bird and rain and I like the open beak. I'm not sure about the comp, though. I think I would take some off the top and maybe even some from the right, as well.

Nice detail in the LP, I like the comp and the rain falling through your frame makes it special.
Great exposure & colors under these adverse conditions, well done :toast:

Nice! Can't really get the full impression of the conditions and rain unless looking at the large version. Really like the pose with the open beak as well.

I like the rainy, low light feeling to this image Keith and seeing the streaks of rain is an added bit of interest. Nice simple background that the snipe stands out from well.
