Shot a couple of weeks ago in Jean Lafitte NP. This one was perched on the saw grass, and after a few moments it turned to look at the strange machine that was staring back at it. I focussed intentionally on the head, maybe could have focused a bit farther, but it's very difficult for me at minimum focus (about 4 feet) and 200mm. Larger image included.

Olympus E-3 ZD50-200 @200 Manfrotto 322RC2 on carbon tripod, ISO 100 1/40 f6.3 0.0 EV 2-second delayed shutter.

Nice image with a lot of green- Good light and detail on this one, maybe you could get the best focus point on the closer part of the head, but that's a minor nit- Well done, Fabio

Wonderful crisp lighting, sharp details where they are needed, a good color palette and a nice composition.

It's not so bad to be green. A very nice picture the eye and Head look to be very sharp to me. Perhaps if you had increased the ISO you could have decreased the aperture for a little more DOF without increasing your exposure time.
A very small nit.

Very nice shot, Bill. I like the pose and the selective focus on the head.

I really like this image. The comp and color are great. I have been to Jean Lafitte several times. It was one of my favorite places when we were in LA.
