Butterfly Garden

I used the Fractalius filter on the bg and the Topaz oil painting filter on the butterfly. I slightly blurred the edges of the butterfly so that it fit in better with the bg. I had to draw in the antennae because they disappeared when I used the filters.

All comments appreciated.

You have created a beautiful image Barb. Except for a little bit of curvature for those antenae it looks real, Well those flowers are surreal but a really nice addition for photoart.

Barb, I find this a challenging image because of the juxtaposition of surreal flowers and realistic butterfly. I like the sense of motion in the flowers and the bits of leaves scattered throughout. The butterfly also looks good. I'm just not sure how well they go together...will need to spend some time with the image. I could sure see an image of the flowers shifted a git to the right to cut out the two in the LLC and to bring in the one in the UR.

Furry daisies! Strange, surreal flowers with a real butterfly! Jarring but neat, Barb!

Great work on this Barb!
The b-fly stands out very well, and the fractalius filter was meant for these flowers
