D3 ISO 400. 300/2.8 with 2x tc. f7.1 1/1000s. Gitzo with Wimberly Head. Natural Light. About 70% FF. Made made water source.

I like the little drop of water under the beak.

Angela, How did you get so close. The drinking pose is a winner for me. And the sharpness of the head blows my socks off. Great job.

Extremely sharp, Angela. I love the pose with the drop of water under the beak. If you have it, I'd be tempted to leave just a touch more room on both sides.

very nice shot Angela, you manage masterly the brights and the drop is the cherry on the top of cake..!!!
I would brighten little bit the eye, other that perfect! :wavey:

Angela what a difference a little water makes,your bird is tack sharp with super detail and the drop of water under the beak just tops it off.

ANother top notch shot Angela! Love the low angle, detail and love the head tipping up after a drink with the droplet hanging of the beak! :toast:
