Darren,

Thanks for your comments, this was for us at least a "unique" sighting and a real privilege to see such a scene, this is why we go to these places (even if we needed our Arctic gear to sleep in at night  )

Fantastic, I don't recall seeing such an image before. As an environmental shot, I think it's great as it is. Could you lift the brightness of the right-hand pups' eyes a little?

John,

Thanks for a great suggestion, does this work?

It looks ok as TIFF but it does not seem to have done much at this size, I am reluctant to go higher for fear of causing to much blocking.

Cheers

Ken

PS Just been reading your suggestions for MkIV very interesting, it certainly contains the most understandable explanation of back button AF, I have ever read. :toast: :toast:

Hi Ken,

Cute shot and I don't recall seeing any shots of hyena pups before. Love the attentive look and curiosity that's implicit in this shot. In a perfect world I wouldn't mind a little more foreground in this shot (primarily because the pups appear to be looking slightly down), but I'm guessing the vegetation that's below would kill that idea!

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Very nice detail on the pups in the larger image, very interesting picture as you do not see hyena pup images very often, nice job in getting this, well done.

Once again thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated.

Brad,

You are correct in your assesment regarding the vegetation, always a nightmare. The pups were slightly above us on slope leading down to the road.
