I shall momentarily spare you guys from more bear pics

Mountain goats lounging on the edge of an icefield on a rare clear day in Kenai Fjords Natl Park. This one is from last summer.

The moment i tried to move further to the right to get a better composition, the closest one looked at me and slowly tried to get up. So as to not spook the herd, i had to retreat.

Whoa, I love the setting. A sweeping and not-quite-so-rugged landscape that really offers a different take on the usual mountain goat photo.

Hi Anand,

That's an impressive landscape - makes me envious of those goats! I think you did a very good job on exposing this image - either during the capture or during processing (or, most likely, both). Compositionally this image works well for me too. These types of images are tough to do justice to online - 1200 pixels (or 720!) just aren't enough to make images like this shine they way they can.

Wonderful composition and landscape to show the mt goats terrain, you did a nice job handling the bright light and snow, well seen and well done, the larger image was a pleasure to view, way to go.

The landscape in itself is a beauty. Adding the mountain goats really makes it pop.
Very nice composition with great balance and leading lines.
