November sunrise at Ocean Point, Boothbay, Maine. This was taken about 2 miles up the road from my previous post which was a sunset. A cloudy morning but still a good light show. Thanks for looking, and as always I appreciate your comments and critiques.

Ha--you tricked me! I was torn between getting the 16-35mm and the 24mmTS, and i went for the latter, now here you are posting with the 16-35
Looks good, Eva--just the slightest hint of the reverse grad, but not bad (hey, that rhymes...) That is some rugged coastline! Always a pleasure seeing your coastal scenes! :wavey:

Hi Stan - I took this 2 years ago before I bought my TS-E which IS my favorite lens. I am on the fence about selling the 16-35 since I want something on the low end.... either a 17mm TS-E or a 14mm but I need to save my pennies before buying a new lens then off loading the 16-35. Thanks.

Eva, All of these coastal images of yours are so nice. They always make me want to go there, and that includes this one. A beautiful scene and great sky. I like the reflection in the pool.

Eva, the still water in the pool reflects the serenity of this morning nicely, colors and composition are consistent to me. Must also be a great spot for a panorama shot, I think.

The rocks in the foreground are a bit out of focus, but that is only a minor matter for me.

"Whoa!" That's just what I said to myself when I saw the large version, imagining myself in this scene, hurrying to set the tripod beofe the clouds moved away.

I wonder if the grad was strong enough on the bottom to match the reflection's brightness with the sky, but that's just a minor nit for such a beautiful composition.

Good to see that those beams of light are well-integrated into the composition. The rugged textures in the foreground create interest. Great job on the processing and filtration.
