I had first photographed these amazing migratory birds in Northern Scotland last year. So, I was doubly thrilled to have been able to see them again in Churchill this year.

It became a challenge to photograph them in flight without a blue sky background. This was the only one that I was really happy with - cropped, of course!

I really like the Tern's pose, and the detail in the primary feathers is very nice. The comp is spot on, and the touch of blue at the bottom the image adds a little extra colour. Nicely done, KC.

I like the pose, KC. Looks like it is at the apex of a climb and about to dive, and giving a warning call to boot. Must have been fun to watch.

Great flight action and calling pose Kwan! I like the touch of angled water at the bottom of the frame. Sweet Photo :toast:

Wonderful flight shot KC. Love the pose and the composition. The bit of blue on the bottom also adds to the picture.
