Desert Wheatear, I photographed this gorgeous little rarity on a beautiful November morning back in 2008.

1/800th @ f8 iso400 ( 75% of FF, 2 dust spots removed and the image flipped horizontally )

Beautiful image. The light is sweet, the background really compliments the bird and the detail is very good.

This is really a delightful image. I like that simple mound on which he is standing and the repeated pattern creates a great background. The light is giving a pleasant glow to both the sand and the bird. The larger image shows outstanding detail. A top notch photo in my opinion. Well done.
