Had some good light combined with flash in single shot mode.
Got me a skimmer in flight :)

That's really good, howard. We are into that time of year that the DF's flash around us and are an obvious source of shutter clicks. You just upped the challenge and I love your result. :jump:

It's impressive what you can accomplish when you spend some time trying. As clean an image as you can get.

Howard:
Fabulous :jump:. Nice and sharp from head to toe and perfect bg. There is a little water droplet near its tail - has it been ovipositing? Another interesting observation is how the legs are outstretched instead of curled up during flight.

Excellent flight shot- Nice detail and a smooth BG on this one- Catching DF in flight is always a tough task (on my experience only blue-eyed darners are easy subjects), and you've done a great job here- My congrats, Fabio
