You're good at these, John. Very stylistic image.

I really like this John, personally I would crop into a pano format emphasizing the abstract, but i'm sure there is another camp that likes the branches at the top for context. Nicely executed

Still a cool study. Not sure if the elements all line up for the perfect take away of this. Freakin cool colors though :)

Cool. I'd consider cropping the top 1/4 of the image to remove the black objects (branches?). That portion distracts me from the best part of this image. I really like this.

Looks more like Spring to me, but thats because summer is brown here...
Nice abstract--the transverse ripples in the lrhc make the shot for me. On the one hand, the top adds a bit of 'normalcy' to what otherwise is pure abstract, on the other, it does look more harmonious w/o it.
This actually gave me the idea last nite to do a quick photo-art piece which im about to post in PA gallery, hope you can check it out--the idea being that if a photo can look like a PS filter creation, a PS filter creation can also look like a photo...

Great abstract. I agree with the suggestion to crop about 15-20% off the top but still a very cool image.

I love shots like this, John. The tones and detail look great. I agree with others who suggest a crop from the top.

Thanks guys for your comments and suggestions. I posted one picture a few days ago in which I cropped trees off. This is the one I was trying to leave the trees in. I can see it is a little distracting.

John, this is really special! Lovely textures, I particularly like those rings floating in the green...I might try with another variant, cropping the upper part to get rid of the two branches and leaving a slightly pano 1x2 format where the thing is focused on the rings alone...Lovely!

I would agree with cropping the top part to enhance the abstract feel of those wonderful whorls of green you've captured.

Terrific capture with the detailed swirls. It's a top notch abstraction in peaceful colors. I could possibly see cropping the non-swirling section at the top.
