Well that certainly works! Very dramatic and a new fav. of yours for me.
Now only if I could hear the story behind it!

Very cool mood! My nit comes w/ the comp...I feel there needs to be slightly better balance between the fg rock and stack furthest right...the right side is a bit empty so moving that stack over some to the right would help balance the fg rock and heavier left side. Every other note is rock solid as per usual. Would LOVE to visit this place

Kah Kit:
Very dramatic. I like the implied motion in the image drawing the viewer into the distant stack and foreboding clouds.

This is wonderful! The comp works great for me and I love the water motion, and the sky is awesome The b/w looks fantastic here. Excellent work Kah kit.

New Zealand does have some dramatic coasts. The B&W interpretation does this justice. Wave anctionand clouds compliment each other nicely.

Beautiful work, Kah Kit! All the compositional and processing perfection of your color work in a classic B&W look. I love it.

I like the depth of this image and the wave action. The B&W works, but I would like to see the color in the image.

The intersecting of the lines of waves, clouds, bank are nice. I like how the streaks of outgoing water draws one into the image, as opposed to maybe an incoming wave splashing over the rock.

Great contrast of textures, the composition works really well. The B/W adds drama to the scene.
Well done!

Hi Kah Kit - All of the elements come together so nicely in this scene. The texture and patterns in the water draw me into the scene, plus the rock, seastacks, and cliffs add a lot of visual interest. I really like your processing, as well.

A very nice b&w Kah Kit. Love the receding water streaks and the prominent fg rock feature. I also like the way my eye is pulled R to L into the image. The rock stacks make a wonderful bg.

Loads of drama in this one. The clarity of the foreground rock is mesmerizing and the graphic quality of the stacks is excellent.

Nice! My view of the image as a whole, is that it's quite nice. I do find the distant stacks to garner more of my attention than the foreground. Nice conversion and great drama to the scene and conditions. I might try and slightly lighten the left side?

Always nice to have your favourites close by. The textures and light here are perfect and my eyes like being engaged inside the frame.

Gorgeous conversion and mood here. The water swirling in the foreground is glorious...maybe the rock of the foreground is too "busy" in terms of texture, giving it a bit too much visual weight compared to the stacks in the distance? This is just sharpening the pencil, and I am not even too sure about...the image rocks as it is. Well done Kah!

I like both versions. The tonality in the first version seems a little smoother, while this version has stronger lines and contrast. Either way the image is very good.
