Sedona RED rock, WHITE snow, and BLUE skies. This was taken one evening this past winter when the snow level dropped to 4000', giving the red sandstone of Sedona a white frosting.

Beautiful light on the rocks. The reflections are a great addition. I'm have some mixed feelings about the centered composition. I could see cropping either from the left or right. Lovely rw&b image.

Thanks all.

Mark- I too originally wondered about the positioning. I had tried cropping left, right, top, bottom, and came to the conclusion that for this image the mountain was best centered. When it was off-center, it seemed too unbalanced to me.

This is a beautiful exposure. But, I am having problems with the composition. I feel it is too centered laterally. Vertically, it seems like there is not enough weight on the bottom of the image. I would also like to see the foreground darker so that the reflection really lights up the pool.

I have to say - the centered composition doesn't bother me in the least. I think it works very well in this case. But that's just me.

The light and the reflection are gorgeous! In fact, I cannot think of any other way than the centered composition that I'd have made the image had it been mine. But I'm just a novice and I certainly like this.

Beautiful image here. The color is stunning, and that reflection seals it.
