Storks Bill (filter)

A shot I took just a few days ago and was going to post it as shot without filter treatment but I remembered posting one a long time ago with the crosshatch filter and it made this bloom sparkle. The filter was at the extreme low end meaning very mild filtering as compared to what is possible. This was done with a very old MS PhotoDraw program which I can't leave alone, it is so damned easy and useful to use. Hope you like.

Phenominal detail!!! It is so 3 dimensional you could almost reach out and touch it. Well done.

Charlie, Do I like? An emphatic YES. The center of the flower really sparkles. I think a light hand does a great job and this is.

One suggestion and I'm not sure it will work. That's to carefully remove that third leaf, the one furthest from the flower so the leaves don't overcome the flower.

Lovely job, Charlie.

Thank you Patricia and Carol. Do you mean the pair of 3rd leaves? I considered that but the top leaf would be tough with the flower parts extending into the leaf.

Very nice image Charlie. I like your light handed approach on filtering this image.

Nice one, Charlie--great detail! I could go for a bit less negative space on the lhs, otherwise looks great. :wavey:
