Great light and detail. The lifted foot and the catch light really add to the image.

Classic head on view. Very nice. The raised foot is great. Wonderful background. What's not to like? Nothing that I can see. Nicely done!

Nice shot John, it appears to be the same bear that I just posted. Great pose showing the massive claws. The vertical capture works very well here. :toast:

Really nice shot John - the light is great and the vertical crop works well. The shot does seem to be a bit over-sharpened to my eye, but what appears to be over-sharpening could be a result of the image size restriction as well, hard to say. Nice capture either way!

Nice work getting low. It's tough getting a low angle shot in nice light AND not having any grass in the way. Definitely a keeper.

Nice shot. Great comp and timing with head and paw position. The beedy eyes on those guys make them look downright sinister.

Thanks for all the comments everyone... this bear was routing, and I was fortunate to be in position for this shot as she turned. And a big thank you for the WP recognition... truly an honor!
