Mt Hood Sunrise

Sunrise light at the summit of Mt Hood (11,240 feet). I climbed the mountain last week with a few friends and we made it to the summit just after sunrise.

Photography was not my primary goal on this trip (making it to the top and back down safely was my goal) but I was pleasantly surprised by the good light on the summit. Hauling dSLR gear up the mountain didn't make climbing any easier, but I was glad I brought everything along.

All C&C are appreciated. Larger version provided. I decided to post this in M&N due to the obvious climbers trail leading up to the summit.

Congratulations on the summit. Good job controlling the sun on view. I dig the top of the world feel to it and the pristine landscape.
