Marching Little Owl

Here is the Little Owl whose company I have been enjoying recently.

Taken very early in the morning, soon after sunrise, to get as much light as possible into the eye.

More images of this chap in action are on my website and blog for those interested.

Canon 1DMk4, 800mm, 1/1000, f9, ISO800

C&C welcome

Cheers

Austin

Great action shot. He looks like he is moving with a real purpose and looks very intense.

Quite amusing - a beautiful background and an anthropomorphic pose.

That looks so funny with his leg just sticking out like that! To me, it kinda looks like he's tired and marching off to go to work hunting

Great image, and it looks like there is some good detail in the feathers, too! I also love your comp!

Absolutely love this one Austin! "Sleepwalking" would have been my choice for caption, though marching is excellent too :^)

Many thanks for sharing and broadening my smile with this one :^)

That is a great example of how the perfect moment captured creates such a different perspective and somewhat 'Human" touch to a wildlife image. It's great I really like it. :toast:
