Hi all,

I was able to work with this rose before the rain took its toll. This was taken in early morning light which provided a wonderful texture to the small strands of green behind the flower.

f3.2
ISO 100

C&C welcome and thanks for viewing.

Sweet light and a fine bg Morgan. Beautiful take on a rose. I might darken the center just a touch but not sure without seeing it. Very precise plane of focus control and appealing color. I like the mood of the image very much as well.

I like the concept, Morgan - there is certainly a dreamy feel to this. For my taste I might like a bit more in focus - perhaps mainly around the flower centre - but this is nice as is.

Morgan: I like the main rose and your DOF/POF choice. I'm not sold on the sepal that kind of floats in space at 2 o'clock to the bloom. Really nice color and comp. >=))>

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. Pat, I went back and slightly darkened the center of the rose and it does look better.
