Hi Lucy - this definitely says sunset over the Rocky Mountains. I like the drama of the shot and the colors are beautiful. I think you could improve this image by brightening the left corner so the main cloud stands out more and could lighten the brightest tones on the right side of the image so that it is not as distracting.

Much cleaner, more powerful and even the falling rain is more prominent. Nice job with this one and thanks for posting the re-worked image. what a magnificent sky. Great panoramic.
