A really nice image of a pair of blue birds. Great detail, background and perch. Just 2 days ago I got my 1st image of a pair together of the Western variety. It's not as good as yours.

GREAT to catch a pair, both in good poses, and both with eye contact!
Looks like good detail, but hard to tell with only a small version. Great perch too.
I'd suggest moving the perch and birds further down in the frame for balance, and possibly lightening the darker areas of the BG.
Really nice image!

A really nice looking shot Verdon. Both birds look sharp, but a larger version would help assess critical sharpness. f/11 looks like a good choice here. I agree with Sandy that moving the birds down in the frame a bit would improve the already nice comp. I like the BG as posted.

Stunning shot of the handsome couple Verdon, how fortunate to see both at the same time and have them with near identical poses giving you the eye, your choice of f/11 was apparently spot-on, exceptional work, very well done :^)

I'll second Sandy's suggestions. IMO, that would make this great image even better.
