A beautiful image. I like the dynamic, diagonal flows of the waves and subtle color contrast.

The color transition on the upper-left corner is not very smooth. Did you use a GND or it is a composition of several exposures?

I love the pastel coral of the sky and the sun - visible but not piercing. There appears to be an ever-so-slight tilt to the horizon. I am perhaps a little overly critical about an unlevel horizon, but if it's noticeable, I notice it.

Yiming,

It's a composite, but that color transition you see is just the shape of the high cloud.

The horizon is not tilted but you are seeing some curvature due to W/A distortion, which I choose not to fix. Thanks for looking!

Richard - I really like this composition. The rocks and the waves are perfect leading lines to the sun. I also like the soft colors. Beautiful!

I really like this one Richard. Perfect wave action and enough FG poking through the waves to create great lines. The hole in the rock creates a lot of interest in what whould otherwise be a dark corner. Really love the soft pastels as well. I'd love to visit this place some day.

Richard,

Love the beautiful salmon colors and I really love the patterns and water in general through the rocks. Just gorgeous.

My only nitpick is the heaviness of the rock up top. I understand the lighting conditions and being the shady side and all, but at least for me I'm wishing for a tad more detail. But a minor point.

Nice composition for me. I like how i look at the hole in the rock yet the waves and limestone lead me out to the beautiful pastels of the sea and sky. :)

A great image with good lines. I like the position of the opening in the rocks as well as the flow of the water. Good detail and a great capture!

This is really beautiful Richard. I love the simple composition, reduced to some essential elements that work so well. Really good work!

Sweet! Exceptional water, great sky colour, and perfect perspective.
The left dark rocks might be brightened up a little..
It would really help us all learn if you'd include your settings, please, and your post-processing.

The flow in the water pointing to that dot of sun make this so dynamic. It's also cool how that tiny bright dot balances the dark mass of the rocks.

Wow...when I saw the thumbnail, I did not realize how good this is. Not the usual good-ol' seascape - way more than that. The lines converging to the sun makes this very special - great work Richard

Richard - The subtle tones of this image and surf motion give a very peaceful feeling to the shot. Cool arch as well to make this standout from all of the other ocean sunrise shots. The lines of the rock and surf pointing to the sun was also well composed. Sweet shot.
