Lovely pallet of colors and textures. The green and orange in the beak, the white feathers and strong blueish and green BG.
I also like the "pose" of the Egret.

Outstanding detail in the individually displayed feathers and the BG is about as good as it gets at the Venice rookery. It may be possible to bring out a little more detail in the solid white areas of the back and wings, but I like it as posted.

Nice as posted Bob. Always nice to get one displaying. Whites look OK to me. I always find them tough. If you get them to show max details they can start to look grey, if you get a nice white, then some of the details are hard to see. Me, I prefer a natural looking white with a bit less detail. Your image fits that look for me.
