Taken on Whistle Ridge (named for the Pika and Arctic Ground Squirrels that live up there), along the Denali Highway in the Amphitheater Mountains. A long, sweaty climb, but it did give me this species. The flowers are Mountain Avens (Dryas integrifolia)
80% of full frame. usual sharpening drill.
