Swirling Water

I took this photo of rushing water in Grand Teton National Park. I liked the swirling motion and I thought it might make a nice abstract. I think it fits this challenge because it stops the motion of the water. I increased the saturation just a little bit to show the beautiful blue and green colors.

Canon 400D, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/3200,55mm

Nice cool colors and frothy currents.

Wow! You can sure tell that was taken with a very fast shutter! An excellent freeze frame with lots of interesting detail. Nice choice for the challenge, Barb!

I like the sparkle of this one, the shadows, the color. I Like the way you filled the frame with this spun glass look. I like that it has foreground, middle ground, and background.

Those are great swirls and the action is contained nicely in the frame. I also like the subtle blues and greens of the clear water.

I too love the colors here, Barb. They have a translucent quality. Also, they beautifully intermingle.

I like the minimalistic nature of this image. The subtle, analogous colors are really nice, and the close-up eliminates any distracting elements. To me, this is subtle and beautiful. Nicely done, Barb!
