Red winged blackbird

I spent some time at a local slough last week on a cool windy day. Lots of male Red-winged and Yellow headed blackbirds but I thought I'd post one of the seldom acknowledged females. C and C always welcome.

Keith, it is nice to see a female of this species once in awhile. Nice detail and natural colors in this.

I agree - good to see the female posted. Ditto the comments of Dennis about pose, detail and head turn.
